ORGANIZATION: Cancer Support Community Arizona

Do you love fresh produce? Do you want to help educate people about its nutritious value? Do you want to serve others? CSCAZ is looking for someone to manage our Community Supported Agriculture program. This includes setting up, separating and preparing produce , managing participant and paid share pick up , and educating the people picking up produce about the program.

This two and a half -hour s every THURSDAY from 3: 3 0 - 6 :00 pm and includes:
- Retrieve and organize the "shares" of organic produce
- S eparate and label p aid share pick u p
- Set up and clean up participant produce pick-up area
- Determine appropriate quantities for participant pick up

- Manage and track all pickups, providing warm welcome and education to all those picking up


Training will be provided.

Cancer Support Community Arizona provides the only comprehensive Program of psychosocial services to people diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones in the state of Arizona. Our Program offers Emotional Support Services, Healthy Lifestyle Activities, Educational Seminars, Social Connections and Resources and Referral. Our services are evidence-based, professionally facilitated and provided at no cost to our participants. Through participation in our Program, people affected by cancer learn vital skills that enable them to regain control, reduce isolation and restore hope regardless of the stage of disease.
