A Free Bird is launching a new program "AFB Support Group" which is designed to provide emotional support for the families of the children through the arts. Just like we empower the children of A Free Bird to fight their disease through the arts, we want to empower the family to feel the love and support of one another through all types of art mediums. Since 2008, we have seen how receiving a cancer diagnosis can put a great amount of pain and stress on a family's emotional well being. Though the children are working with art tutors, the parents and children are missing their own form of art therapy.
+Giving them the skills to empower them and to use in their everyday life so when they speak to their children they are good and well and can use the skills they used to speak and do not have to unload on others- these parents dont have time of their own so to properly sit down w their kids using movement skills Acquire skills that lead to a healthier lifestyle for individuals and when speaking to children
