Turn a few hours a week into priceless moments for hospice patients and their families. Give your time, talents and skills to make a difference in the lives of others and increase meaning and purpose in your own life. As part of our hospice team you can:
Provide companionship and socialization to patient and family
Provide needed non-medical services, letter writing, respite care and assisting with family needs
Provide support at the time of death and during bereavement
The scheduling is flexible and training is provided. You just need to be 18 or over. And we ask that candidates commit to volunteering with us for 6-12 months.

Description
Compassion and commitment are the hallmarks of a great hospice volunteer. Being with families facing death and loss can be challenging but volunteers who work in hospice understand how this type of care can bring quality and dignity to those facing the end of life.
