ORGANIZATION: Volunteers of America Northern Colorado Services

For many older adults in our community, getting groceries is a barrier to living a healthy lifestyle. The Volunteers of America Grocery Program helps by bringing groceries to participants in the program.

Volunteers are needed to deliver groceries on Thursday mornings. Some address are in Ft. Collins and some in Loveland. This is a great opportunities to lend a helping hand to seniors who are homebound or have transportation challenges. Our program supports participants wanting to stay in their homes and provides an opportunity for healthy nutrition. We hope you'll join us!

  • morning / 09:30 AM to 11:30 AM
    May be less time, depending on number of deliveries

Description

The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Volunteers of America provides volunteer opportunities for individuals 55 years and older to use their skills, insight and lifetime experiences to assist residents and non-profit agencies in the county. RSVP also offers a variety of programs which provide services and enhance the quality of life for seniors.
