Got a college degree and want to pay it forward? Sign up to be a ScholarMatch College Coach and mentor first-generation students through the college application process!
Wherever you're located, there's a volunteer opportunity for you! If you're based in San Francisco or Los Angeles, sign up to be an in-center College Coach, where you'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with students on creating a balanced college list, editing personal statements, and navigating financial aid. Not local or have a sporadic schedule? You can still make a difference by being a Virtual Coach and supporting students entirely remote!
As a College Coach, your commitment means providing vital mentoring and support services to first generation, low-income high school students striving to achieve their college dreams. You'll receive extensive college advising training and ongoing support from the ScholarMatch team along the way, so no prior advising experience is necessary.
Help make college possible today by signing up at scholarmatch.org/get-involved/. We look forward to working with you!
