Help "connect animals in need with people who care" by recruiting volunteers! This position assists the Volunteer Manager with the advertising and marketing of volunteer positions. This volunteer position would also reach out to community partners to promote the mission of Carver Scott Humane Society and correspond with potential volunteers. We're looking for an organized, proactive individual with good interpersonal skills, who works well independently. May be asked to attend monthly volunteer orientations.
Requirements include:
Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
Ability to create basic recruitment posters and mailing lists
Ability to write brief advertisements for volunteer postings
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The Carver-Scott Humane Society is a foster-based 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue incorporated in March of 1989. Our mission is to connect animals in need with people who care. In addition to our foster homes, we have a Cat Adoption Center in our offices in downtown Chaska, MN.
Description
Carver-Scott Humane Society is a foster-based animal rescue that places over 500 animals a year in the homes of loving adopters. With 4 full time staff and 1 part time staff, our team of nearly 100 volunteers are critical to our success.
CSHS has developed a cutting-edge, holistic approach to rescue that involves four pillars:
