Mission Statement

The Carver-Scott Humane Society is a foster-based 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue incorporated in March of 1989. Our mission is to connect animals in need with people who care. In addition to our foster homes, we have a Cat Adoption Center in our offices in downtown Chaska, MN.

Description

Carver-Scott Humane Society is a foster-based animal rescue that places around 300 animals a year in the homes of loving adopters. Led by a Board of Directors who focus on the strategic and long-term plans of the organization, the Executive Director executes the day to day operations and vision of CSHS with an Office Manager and team of volunteers. In 2016 the organization is seeing increased need for volunteers to assist with our office hours, Cat Adoption Center, and expanded programs.

If you are interested in volunteering but do not see a position specific to your needs, we encourage you to contact our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@carverscotths.org or complete our online Volunteer Application.
