Mission Statement

The Carver-Scott Humane Society is a foster-based 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue incorporated in March of 1989. Our mission is to connect animals in need with people who care. In addition to our foster homes, we have a Cat Adoption Center in our offices in downtown Chaska, MN.

Description

Carver-Scott Humane Society is a foster-based animal rescue that places around 300 animals a year in the homes of loving adopters, and is led by a Board of Directors who focus on the strategic and long-term plans of the organization. The Executive Director executes the day to day operations and vision of CSHS in partnership with a talented team of managers and volunteers. In 2017 the organization is seeing increased need for volunteers to assist with our office hours and expanded programming.

CSHS has developed a cutting-edge, holistic approach to rescue that involves four pillars:

Trap Neuter Return

Serve Where You Save

Surrender Prevention

Adopters Welcome.

If you are interested in volunteering but do not see a position specific to your needs, we encourage you to contact our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@carverscotths.org or complete our online Volunteer Application.

CSHS embraces a four-pillar, holistic approach to rescue with the ultimate goal to realize our vision - a world where every animal is safe, cared for and loved.
