Volunteer with AAMA’s 11th Annual Día de los Niños, this event celebrates the children in our community, with the aim of diverting them away from harmful behaviors towards more positive opportunities. Event includes; music, games, prizes, and food in a tobacco- and drug-free environment for youth and families.

Through its work in educational attainment, workforce readiness and leadership development, AAMA is a convener and facilitator of important dialogue for the Latino community.
We have one of the most successful programs for educating at-risk Latino middle and high school students and remain at the forefront of the charter school movement.
We are among the most effective organizations for assisting Latino families to be productive contributors to the Houston community.
