AAMA's mission is to inspire and empower at-risk Latinos to pursue their potential and achieve success. Our efforts are focused in the areas of educational attainment, workforce readiness and leadership development.

Through its work in educational attainment, workforce readiness and leadership development, AAMA is a convener and facilitator of important dialogue for the Latino community.

We have one of the most successful programs for educating at-risk Latino middle and high school students and remain at the forefront of the charter school movement.

We are among the most effective organizations for assisting Latino families to be productive contributors to the Houston community.
