Get some fresh air, meet people and help Homeport get to know our neighbors! Homeport is seeking volunteers to conduct a neighborhood survey in Milo-Grogan. Homeport is a not for profit housing developer that has been active in the central Ohio area for over 30 years, operating on the belief that a successful life starts in the home and has begun work on building 33 homes for people on low and moderate incomes in the Milo-Grogan neighborhood. The survey will cover resident satisfaction with the neighborhood and basic demographic information. This information is very important to Homeport as we continue to invest in the neighborhood, helping us to evaluate the success of our mission and plan our next steps. Volunteers will go door-to-door, ask the questions written on the survey and record the responses. This opportunity would be rewarding for anyone who likes community development, talking with new people or simply performing community service while enjoying the summertime. Participants must be comfortable going door-to-door to engage residents and be able to walk for extended periods of time. We hope you can help with this important project! The exact dates and times of when the survey will take place are flexible and volunteer opportunities will be available from April till July.
