Social Media Manager Job Description


Our social media manager must have social media skills. This includes knowing what type of content works best on what platform, optimizing content accordingly, as well as understanding the different nuances of each platform.

S/he should know how to engage an audience through social media posts and interactions. We know social media is one of those skills that is not as easy as it may seem to the untrained professional and should hopefully find joy in doing this type of volunteer service.

We need someone who can truly take our brand’s online presence to the next level by helping us develop and implement marketing strategies and social media sights. This would also include blogging, creating social media profiles, managing regular posts and responding to followers.

We would like you to be responsible for regularly evaluating the success of our marketing efforts and work with our SEO Manager to tweak our marketing strategy as needed to help us generate inbound leads, gains followers, and creates a positive image.
