LUNAFEST

Volunteers are needed to support LUNAFEST, an evening of short films by, for, and about women.Volunteers will be needed at the event on Thursday, March 22nd from 4:00pm-10:00pm to help set up, welcome and check-in attendees, help ticket holders find seats, and support raffle prize check out and event tear down. LUNAFEST is a fundraiser for Girls on the Run of NOVA! Volunteers will also be able to watch half of the LUNAFEST films at no cost, whilevolunteering for the other half of the event. There are are three volunteer shifts: GREETER 4:00pm - 8:00pm; SET UP 5:00pm - 8:00pm; and TEAR DOWN 8:00pm - 10:00pm. Sign up for one shift or all three!

If you sign up for an early shift, you'll be able to watch the second half of the films. If you're volunteer for a later shift, you're welcome to come early and watch the first half of the films before your shift.

Description

Girls on the Run of NOVA advocates and delivers physical activity-based, positive youth development programs (PA-PYD) for pre-adolescent and adolescent girls in Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, Falls Church, Loudoun, Manassas, Manassas Park, and Prince William.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving more than 60,000 girls since 2000, GOTR NOVA works to engage the entire community to positively impact the health and well being of the girls of Northern Virginia, their families and communities, and the volunteer coaches who serve them.
