Spring and summer are the two busiest seasons at Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network. The organization will see thousands of orphaned animals in our care during the coming months.


Do you love working with animals and would like to provide a second chance for local wildlife species?

Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network (SBWCN) is currently seeking new volunteers for our VERY busy spring and summer seasons! SBWCN sees over 3,000 wildlife animals every year that are either orphaned, injured, oil-impaired, or sick. As an animal care volunteer, you will be assisting our mission in providing a second chance to animals in need of help.

Animal Care Volunteers are needed for shifts throughout the week. SBWCN is currently open 7 days a week, from 8am-7pm. To commit to being an Animal Care Volunteer, you must commit to one four hour shift every week.
