Thank you for your interest in volunteering for wildlife! Volunteers are the backbone of SBWCN. As a volunteer, you will be aiding the team to achieve its mission in both rehabilitating wildlife in the community while educating others on the importance of wildlife species. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and return to the wild native sick, injured, orphaned, or oiled wild birds and small mammals in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties, and to educate the public about living in harmony with wildlife. Volunteers are critical to the ability to care for wildlife.
