Knowbility launched in 1998 with a hackathon called AIR Austin - accessibility internet rally (yes, a hackathon before the word existed!). Since then, Knowbility has added numerous programs, held AIR events in Houston, Dallas, Denver and other locations, and built an international reputation. We've had a lot of press coverage and articles on the blogs of other organizations, but need a better archive of such. We need a volunteer (or two) to search on various archives to find newspaper and magazine articles and other press coverage about Knowbility, our events and our founder. This is going to take a great online sleuth, someone willing to go through several pages of results on Google and Bing - not just be satisfied with the first page of results. We will need the articles to be saved as PDFs and put into a DropBox. A volunteer that signs up to help us would need to be a terrific and diligent online researcher, someone who doesn't easily give up when looking for information online. Our goal is to be able to have one place for all of the press coverage we have had over the years. Please do not apply for this assignment unless you are SERIOUS about seeing this task through to completion and have looked up the phrases Knowbility and "Accessibility Internet Rally" (with quotes) on Google and Bing just to see the kind of articles we're looking for. If you successfully complete your part of this assignment, you will get notice about other assignments before they are posted to VolunteerMatch, or we may be able to create an assignment specifically for you based on what you are interested in.
