​Volunteer at Christmas in April with Gethsemane United Methodist Church and Prince George's County to help renovate Senior Citizen's homes. This year, we'll be working at two homes in Capitol Heights!
Christmas in April is the largest home rehabilitation organization in America. The mission is to build partnerships to rehabilitate homes and community facilities of low-income, elderly, and/or disabled homeowners so they can live in warmth, safety, and independence. This neighbor-helping-neighbor effort culminates in our annual Work Day, held on the last Saturday in April. Each year, Christmas in April organizes local community to facilitate the renovation of homes at no financial cost to the homeowner.
