Go Where You Are Needed

Do you want to gain valuable professional experience while making a difference? The Arizona Refugee Resettlement Program (RRP) is looking for an Employment and Financial Services Coordinator VISTA Member.

RRP VISTA members bring their passion and perseverance to build programs that help refugees settle in their new home here in Arizona. Located at the International Rescue Committee (IRC), the Employment and Financial Services Coordinator will help refugees achieve financial stability by coordinating financial literacy trainings and building positive relationships with financial institutions to expand available resources. We are looking for someone with a background in community outreach, volunteer leadership, and an interest in developing sustainable solutions.

Along with a modest stipend, health and childcare benefits, and the option of an education or cash award upon completing service*, VISTA members receive ongoing professional development and coaching from their supervisor and VISTA leader. VISTA members also participate in a comprehensive pre-service orientation and an on-site orientation at the International Rescue Committee in the beginning of their service.

As an RRP VISTA member, you will be a part of a team of other VISTA members working in the community at organizations like Catholic Charities, the Refugee Women’s Health Clinic, and the Area Agency on Aging. Their projects range from housing and health to women’s empowerment and education.
