You can teach Milwaukee teenagers how to create, build, and update their resumes, equipping them with the necessary tools and resources to apply for jobs in their future.
Our Resume Writing Workshop at the Milwaukee Public Library - Washington Park branch gives teenagers, ages 16-19, the opportunity to work with MPL Staff and Volunteers one-on-one to learn how to build resumes from scratch and improve existing resumes. Once completed, teens are welcome to print their resumes on MPL Public Printers and apply for jobs in the Job Fair happening at the same time.
By helping teenagers in Milwaukee learn how to create a resume, you are helping grow and enhance our local workforce and business development. Resume writing is an essential life skill, and without this ability many young adults in our community are left struggling and unable to find professional work. You can make a difference and help local youth get on the right track for success. DEADLINE TO APPLY TO VOLUNTEER IS FRIDAY, MARCH 23.
