The Butterfly House is looking for extra volunteers to assist us in our Visitor Services Department on Fridays.

As a visitor services volunteer your focus is to help provide our guests with a great experience! Our Visitor Service volunteers talk to guests as they enter and exit the tropical conservatory providing them with information on our thousands of butterflies, inspect guests as they leave the Conservatory for hitchhiking butterflies, promote the viewing of our movie and participation in various other activities in the facility, interact with guests in our outdoor native butterfly garden, the conservatory, learning lab and the exhibit hall.

You will receive training on all aspects of this position. This position is on-going, and In order to make the Butterfly House successful we would need you to commit to a minimum of two 3 -hour shifts per month. At this position you will also be standing and walking during your shift. There are chairs or stools available. Please ask if ADA accommodations might be made for this position.

Volunteer Shifts:

• 10am-1pm
• 11am-2pm
• 1-4pm
