RWEYOWA needs volunteers to help with HIV Voluntary Counseling and Testing outreaches; the HIV testing clinics are a service in which we mobilize people come to get tested for HIV free of charge. We provide pre and post-test counseling to help them understand the results, whether they be positive or negative. We keep visiting different communities as this service has got few providers in Uganda.
We're also involved in the implementation of other community health programs like sensitizing people about HIV/AIDS prevention with the primary focus on young people by distributing information, education and communication materials. Immunization, family planning, hygiene/sanitation in collaboration with community health centers, hospitals etc.
You will be free to participate in any of our activities that match your interests and to help in the implementation of the organisation programs in hospitals and health centers if you wish.
We give our volunteers immersive experiences in social issues of the developing world.
