Center for Health Empowerment

We are looking for a host of Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians Assistants, Nurses (RN/LVN), Lab Techs, Outreach Workers and Office staff to help us carry our mission to provide high-quality wellness services for under-served populations at:

2500 W. Pleasant Run Road, Suite #220, Lancaster TX 75146

CHE provides sexually transmitted infection (including hepatitis C) screening, prevention and treatment; and HIV prevention with PrEP and PEP medications. CHE operates a clinic that expands access to medical services within populations where higher or increasing rates of HIV infection occur. CHE also disseminates high-quality public health information to the general public throughout the region. CHE’s services are accessible to all community members-in-need, however, the nonprofit targets its outreach to populations who frequently have less access to sexual health resources and are at high risk of contracting sexually transmitted infections, particularly HIV. Priority populations include African-American and Latino Men who have Sex with Men (MSM), women of color (African-American women, in particular), transgender individuals, youth ages 18 to 24, and injecting drug users.

Help us help our community. When they feel good, so do we!

  • Are you looking for a way to give back to your community?
  • Do you have experience in the medical field? or
  • Do you just have a few hours each week/month on your hands that you would like to share with an organization?
