Friendly Visitor for our Residents in our Skilled Nursing Facility at the Miners' Memorial Campus help make a difference in our patients day by spending time socializing with our residents by playing games, providing meal time company, transporting them to activities on the unit and providing them with non-clinical comfort items (i.e. pillows, blankets, fresh water, etc). Friendly Visitor volunteers might also assist our nursing staff with various supportive duties, such as discharging patients and delivering supplies and other well needed items throughout the hospital.
