Are you the type of person who:

• considers themselves a story teller and enjoys sharing their experiences
• has excellent communication and writing skills
• has a personal connection to the Alzheimer's Association, either as someone who has benefited from programs, is/was a caregiver, or works in the healthcare industry
• optimistic attitude and energy
• passionate about providing support for those with Alzheimer's disease and their caregivers

The Mission Committee is responsible for organizing activities that focus on the Association's mission at committee meetings, wraparound events and at the 2018 Walk to End Alzheimer's taking place on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018 at Town Square.

Specific goals:

• gather Mission Moments (stories of why people are walking, why people support the Association) from the Walk Committee members and others as assigned under the guidance of the Alzheimer's Association Staff Partner
• design and present Mission Moments at all Walk Committee meetings and wrap-around events
• assist in planning and executing the mission elements that occur on walk day including, The Promise Garden, Programs & Support, actual stories presented from the stage, etc.
