- passionate about providing support for those with Alzheimer's disease and their caregivers
The Team Retention Committee is responsible for managing past Walk teams and helping set them up for success, planning and executing the Past Team Kick-Off Party, and Walk Celebration Party. This is in support of the 2018 Walk to End Alzheimer's taking place on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018 at Town Square.
Specific goals:
- plan and execute a successful Past Team Kick-Off under the guidance of the Alzheimer's Association Staff Partner
- plan and execute a successful Walk Celebration Party under the guidance of the Alzheimer's Association Staff Partner
- provide encouragement to Past Team Captains as they fundraise through calls, emails, in-person interactions
- provide an exceptional experience for our Past Teams on Walk Day

The Desert Southwest Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association is a charitable organization governed by a local board of directors. While we are an affiliate of the National Alzheimer's Association based in Chicago, all our work is devoted to providing service and support to Alzheimer's patients, family members and caregivers throughout Nevada.
