Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Pinellas County
The purpose of the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Pinellas County (RSVP) is to create meaningful opportunities for persons 55 years of age and above to participate more fully in the life of their community through volunteer service. RSVP has partnered with Mease Dundedin Hospital to recruit volunteers who are 55+ for the specific opportunities listed below.
About
Established in 1937, Mease Dunedin Hospital is a 143-bed facility committed to improving the health of everyone it serves. The facility is undergoing a $19-million multi-phase expansion renovating 33,000-square-feet of the hospital's main building and adding 4,000-square-feet of new construction.
This latest expansion project included a new Critical Care Unit, the new surgical center with four operating suites, an endoscopy suite, pre-operative holding unit, post-anesthesia care unit that provides functionality, accessibility and peace of mind for patients, visitors, and staff.
Volunteer
A few hours of your time can make a positive difference in someone’s life. Volunteering your time to help others is not only a wonderful way to support your community, it can also help promote your own wellness and active lifestyle.
Volunteers are needed with the CareLife van transportation service (drivers, drivers' aides and dispatchers) to take patients to and from their doctors appointments.
We'll work with your schedule.
