Henry Street Settlement

Our program needs tutors to instruct students in the areas of math, science, writing, reading and social studies, the five areas covered in the (GED)tests. They may be required to assess students in order to create a learning program for each student.

Instruct students on material needed in order to earn their GED.
Teach basic skills encompassing math, science, English, and literature.
Help students prepare and study for GED exam.
Assess students' readiness to take exam.
