This was a great volunteer experience. The ladies who run the WDC and organized the event (and the other volunteers) were very friendly and personable and the day flew by. It was clear that the participants in the workshop were happy to be there and got a lot out of the day. The Henry Street Settlement Workforce Development Center helps people to help themselves and has an admirable mission. I would definitely volunteer here again.
