POSITION TITLE: GRAPHIC DESIGNER

COMPENSATION: $0 - ALL VOLUNTEER - The person who takes advantage of this opportunity probably does this every day for a company, offering the opportunity to use your skills and expertise to make a difference in the lives of at-risk dogs and cats while building a strong portfolio that can aid in career advancement.

JOB SUMMARY: We’re seeking a creative and experienced graphic designer to aid the organization in the creation of digital content (website content, social media banners, graphics, infographics, etc.) and print materials (post cards, flyers, banners, posters, etc.). The ideal candidate is a self-driven team player that is creative and detail oriented, and can adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position will collaborate directly with our Executive Director to fulfill BAR's mission.

TASK DESCRIPTION

• Design with a creative and high vision of design for digital and print guiding our marketing toward a clean, modern, and organized brand.
• Assist in the launch and see through the execution of an organization wide rebrand.
• Develop and consistently reinforce the organization’s branding parameters.
• Design media accordingly towards target audiences.
• Knowledge of printing processes required for the production of promotional materials including brochures, post cards, folders, business cards, and more.
• Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Graphic design skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work in fast paced environment
• Strong portfolio demonstrating work
• Proficiency in problem solving
• Ability to work project from concept development, storyboard
• Must be comfortable working within a nonprofit environment subject to ambiguity and change
