ORGANIZATION: EnCorps STEM Teachers Program

EnCorps STEM Teachers Program is seeking a volunteer with experience and expertise in managing Google AdWords to help us manage and optimize our Google AdWords Grant account. We are looking for someone to commit to about 2-4 hours per month and the work can be done remotely.

About EnCorps
The EnCorps STEM Teaching Fellowship transitions professionals from science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) industries into second careers teaching in high needs schools. Sadly, 41% of high-poverty students are taught by teachers with neither certification nor a major in the core subjects they teach. EnCorps Fellows, as former industry professionals, bring professional experience and real-life connections to the classroom to motivate young people in seeing the value of STEM. Help us to recruit a cohort of Fellows with industry expertise to inspire the next generation of students.

Our Google AdWords account is set up and already running successful campaigns. We would like help with managing and optimizing existing campaigns, pulling analytics and helping us to design new successful campaigns to take advantage of our $10K/monthly grant.

Description

Founded in 2007, EnCorps Inc. is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit with operations in California as well the greater Denver, Colorado and New York City areas. EnCorps connects highly effective STEM educators with public school students to counter the systemic injustice preventing children in under-resourced communities from accessing a high-quality STEM education. The EnCorps STEM Teachers Program(r) recruits, selects and supports STEM professionals and experts in the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields as well as individuals who possess an advanced STEM degree to transition to teaching as an innovative, long-term solution to the STEM teacher shortage and to counter the alarming lack of math proficiency of middle and high school students nationwide. The EnCorps STEMx Tutors Program matches middle school students, currently under-performing in math, with volunteer STEM professionals, subject-matter experts and STEM college students to increase math skills and confidence prior to students entering high school.
