Come and make a difference, in a fun way! We need help out our annual gala. Volunteers are needed to attend, mingle with guests, assisting with auction bidding in an effort to raise money for Assistance League of Phoenix. Every dollar raised at the event benefits children in need in the greater Phoenix area.

Location: Chateaux Lux Event Center, 1175 E Lone Cactus Drive Phoenix, AZ 85024

Volunteer Responsibilities: have fun and help us raise money. Volunteers will greet and mingle with event attendees to encourage raffle ticket sales and assist with the silent auction bidding and auction check-out.Upon arrival, volunteers will receive an orientation and training.

• helping guest turn on wifi on their mobile devices,
• showing guest How to Bid on auction items using their mobile devices
• moving auction items as needed from display tables to Check Out line
• Assisting event staff with distributing items to winners
  
  Number of Volunteers Needed: 15

Attire: Get dressed up! Cocktail/party attire is great.


TIMELINE

4:00 p.m. Volunteers Arrive, Sign In
4:20 p.m. Training
5:15 to 7:00 Raffle Sales, Assist with Auction Bidding
7:15 to 7:45 Clear Auction Tables and moving items to storage room and organize items by number
8:45 to 9:30 Assist with auction Check-Out by gathering items for each winner after they have checked out with a staff member.

Other Details: There might be down time or slow periods from from 7:30 to 8:30pm.
