Opportunity Overview
WEATHER PERMITTING, we are bringing back the beloved traditions of Rocky Woods with an old-fashioned Winterlude on Sunday, March 4! Help us celebrate all things winter and the great outdoors by assisting us in providing an amazing and fun family day which will include music and activities for kids of all ages.
A number of different volunteer positions are available, with shifts occurring at 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., 12:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Volunteer positions include:
* Greeting/check-in
* Leading games/activities
* Ice safety patrol
* Fire safety/tending
* Smores assistance
* Setup/cleanup
Responsibilities
* Vary depending on volunteer position
* Communicate effectively with staff and other volunteers
* Assist with set up and clean up
* Help answer questions about the Farm
* Log volunteer hours
Qualifications
* Have excellent communication skills
* Friendly and outgoing personality
* Have reliable transportation to the Farm
* Enjoy working with people
Time Commitment
Sunday, March 4, 2018. Shifts available: 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., 12:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
