Volunteer Needed to Install Accessibility Ramps
ORGANIZATION: Southern Rhode Island Volunteers
Please visit the new page to apply.
A museum in Exeter is seeking a volunteer that is handy with tools to assist in installing several threshold ramps within museum entryways. This volunteer would help to address accessibility in and around the museum for individuals living with a disability. Requested skills: carpentry, minimal experience necessary, and ability to use hammers or power screwdriver.
This would be a one time volunteer job that would take 1-2 hours. Volunteer could come on a Monday, Tuesday or Thursday between 9:30 AM and 4:00 PM. However, this is a very flexible opportunity so other times could be arranged if these hours do not work.
