Please visit the new page to apply.
Do you have experience with video production or making short films? Are you interested in raising awareness about sexual assault and services in the community that support survivors? Health Imperatives is planning a Sexual Assault Awareness Luncheon for the 3 rd week in April, and we are looking for someone to compile a video to share at our event that highlights the stories of survivors and the services we offer.
The video will include interviews of our clients, service providers, community partners, and staff. The videographer for the project must be willing to dedicate a few hours/week to this project in order to have a finished project by early April. This person must have their own equipment and be comfortable with some travel within Plymouth county.
Health Imperatives has a small budget for this project and is willing to provide a stipend for the volunteer's time.
Qualifications include:
-Familiarity with basic digital video recording, preferably high-definition cameras
-Proficiency with video editing software
-Familiarity with Web video publishing tools and specifications
-General understanding of and interest in issues pertaining to sexual assault prevention
-Ability to work independently
To respond to this need, please call or email our Volunteer Coordinator, Elissa May, at 508-583-3005 ext. 1005 or emay@healthimperatives.org. We'll set up a time to discuss your experience with projects of this type and give you more information on what we are looking for.
