Founded in 1986, The Gathering Place is the only daytime drop-in center in metropolitan Denver that serves women, their children, and transgender individuals who are experiencing poverty, many of whom are also experiencing homelessness.

WHAT WILL WE BE DOING?

Join Project Helping as we prepare and serve a fresh, nutritious breakfast for approximately 100-125 members of The Gathering Place! As space is limited, make sure to register before participating in this awesome event!

Why volunteer?

Through the act of volunteering, you are actively investing in your community while also improving your mental wellness! There are no specific skills needed for this event. We do consider willingness to help others a very special skill, but you’re reading this, so you already have that one!

Are there age requirements for volunteering?

This is a Project Helping Kindfulness for Kids Event, meaning kids are welcome! For this specific event, children under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times for everyone’s safety.
