Position Overview:
The Resource Volunteer participates in a Poverty Simulation by staffing community offices, businesses, and school. Volunteer will be provided instructions prior to start of the simulation
The volunteer is needed for 4 hours that include; 1-hour training prior to simulation, 2 hours for the simulation exercise, 1 hour to participate in reflection and debrief.
Key Responsibilities and Skills:
Participate in 1 hour training prior to the simulation. Prepare materials for the resource table. Speak with participants and carry out assigned tasks, handle play money, write receipts and fill in record forms.
Strong interpersonal skills; able to read and write; basic knowledge of math.
