We are seeking a Board Member to oversee the Scholarship Selection process. This individual will assist with training 8 volunteers who serve as Scholar Selection chairs for their region. This includes describing the scholarship application, how to communicate with high school counselors throughout the process, and strategies that regions can take to select and notifying applicants of a scholarship decision. This position is fundamental to training our regional teams and volunteers on the scholarship process.

This position has a time commitment varying between 0-5 hours per week and averages approximately 1-2 hours per week. This position is designed so it can be held by individuals with other commitments. The scholarship process runs from January - May every year.

Due to the training involved, the Scholar Selection Director Board position requires a commitment of 2 years.
