Children Across America is currently seeking volunteers to help underserved families sign their children up for Mass Health care. You can pick your hours and work in our office in Milford. If you have other hours available, we can accommodate you.
There also will be some light office work, answeran occasional talk, talk to anyone that stops in. You could have days, many days, without seeing anyone. We are open as a resource if someone has a problem.

Basic computer skills. You will ask questions of the parents and fill out the application for them and answer any questions they may have. Then print it, collect any documentation that is required and make copies, then have them sign the completed application. We mail the application in for them.

Children Across America provides literacy support and preventative healthcare to underserved children in the United States. Its vision is to empower families and children in low income communities. Its unique programs are focused on improving children’s educational excellence and health. The organization partners with local libraries, school systems healthcare advocates and hospitals to ensure children get the full benefit of its programs. We provide a free alternative program to underserved families with students in grades K-5, who can't afford a private tutor, or professional tutoring services such as Kaplan or Kumon.
CAA has a combination of medical and educational programming.
Our main educational program is a literacy program for all children. We also focus on children K-5 grade that come from families that English is not their first language. Our Summer Reading and Math Club (Children's Book Club) and our Saturday Reading and Math club's goal is to raise the level of literacy in America's children. Our Math Clubs are to help develop children's basic math skills. We help all children but our main focus is the underserved population of America. Our signature program is our Summer Reading and Math Club, that runs from July through August and our Saturday Reading and Math Club, that runs each Saturday.
Our main medical program and focus of our medical programming is Health Promotion in motion. This is a immunization and preventative healthcare initiative focused on making sure every child in America is immunized per CDC guidelines and has healthcare coverage. We are a vendor for the State for Mass healthcare signps.
