The International Professors Project’s (IPP) exchange network changes lives by facilitating strong and mutually beneficial connections between professors, students, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), nonprofits and university departments worldwide, with an emphasis on the developing world.

IPP is seeking suitably qualified persons with a strategic mindset & business focus for a volunteer position of Board Director for a period of 1 year.

Job Entails:

  • Attending and making significant contributions to monthly Board meetings;
  • Participating on special purpose committees to decide on IPP’s future plans
  • Identifying and developing initiatives designed to add value to IPP
  • Ensuring that decisions made reflect and align with the organization’s Strategic Mission & Value.
  • Reviewing all activities conducted by volunteers from time to time

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in a Leadership position with strategic mindset
  • Ability to work remotely & collaboratively with diverse team members
  • Ability to solve problems creatively & share innovative ideas
  • Excellent Organizational Skills & Self Discipline in meeting deliverables
  • Proven ability to take initiative & follow through on assignments

Reporting Line: This position will report to Dr.Ron Krate (CEO IPP)

Duration: Period of One Year

Time Commitment: 8 to 10 hrs / month

Description

Founded in 2009, IPP is a Technology and HR-oriented organization emphasizing cooperation and coordination in service delivery to Professors, expatriate Professors and Universities in the developing countries.

Our organization is run entirely by dedicated and hardworking volunteers.

Much of what IPP does can be summarized into 3 main functions: Consulting, Promoting and Recruiting, often brought into being via interconnections.

Consulting - We have dedicated volunteer professionals and professors who donate several to many hours per week to advise professors, students universities and nonprofit organizations in their areas of expertise.

We provide free mentoring, coaching, training, and tutoring services in various subjects such as Instructional Design, Academic English, Gamification in Education, HR, IT, Blended Learning, etc.


Promoting - The International Professors Project is dedicated to promoting various professor and student projects and researches that contribute to higher education development and international higher education in the developing world.

We love to partner with the other organizations and businesses to help each other better achieve our mission and goals.

Recruiting - Our aim is to attract and recruit motivated and highly-qualified volunteers for educational projects throughout the developing world.
