Front Desk Assistants support UCP Heartland’s mission by serving at our welcome and information desk during business hours. The Front Desk Assistant represents UCP Heartland to those who call and visit the corporate office. This position involves working with a variety of people and the following key activities:

· Greeting visitors

· Answering and transferring phone calls

· Answering general questions about UCP Heartland’s programs, events and initiatives

· Assisting with mail and packages

· Other administrative support tasks

· Optional depending on skill and interests: Participate in development activities such as phone calls, database entry, research and record keeping

· This position involves sitting for most of the shift and may involve minor lifting and reaching as well as typing and/or writing
