Make-A-Wish Georgia volunteers will help celebrate and congratulate thousands of runners as they participate in America’s Sweetest Race! Volunteers will distribute a variety of different items including water, Nuun, and of course, sweet chocolate treats. Our Make-A-Wish volunteers will be assigned to the Finish line where runners retrieve a finisher’s mug filled with hot chocolate and chocolate fondue and their award. Cheering and enthusiasm are strongly encouraged to motivate participants and increase the fun! All volunteers will receive an email 10 days before the race with the exact details and location of their volunteer assignment. The deadline to register is 1/20/2020!

Although it has become one of the world's most well-known charities, Make-A-Wish has maintained the grassroots fulfillment of its mission to serve children with life-threatening medical conditions. Make-A-Wish Georgia grants wishes for kids right here in Georgia, and we need volunteers throughout the state to make wishes possible in your community. Volunteers serve as wish granters, fundraisers, special events assistants and in numerous other capacities.
