Would you be able to donate 4 hours of your time a month to those in need in your community? Kindred Hospice is looking for individuals that have pets that are Certified Pet Therapy Animals to join our team. Our Companions provide much needed support to patients during their end of life journey. We focus on quality of life and pain free living. We would like to have Companions for the following service areas: Cumberland, Dauphin, York, Perry and Adams counties. Please contact the Volunteer Manager at Kindred Hospice to set up a meeting. 717-612-1200.

Kindred Hospice provides support and care to persons in the last stages of a life limiting illness or disease. As a team, our focus is on enhancing our patients' comfort level and overalll quality of life. Care can be provided in a variety of settings such as home, assisted living facilities, nursing homes and hospitals.
We strive to create a unique care plan for each of our patients that enlists the expertise of Registered Nurses, Spiritual Care Counselors, Home Health Aides, Medical Social Workers, Registered Dieticians, Volunteers, and Bereavement Counselors.
