Kindred Hospice...Big hearts. Better care.

Kindred Hospice provides support and care to persons in the last stages of a life limiting illness or disease. As a team, our focus is on enhancing our patients' comfort level and overalll quality of life. Care can be provided in a variety of settings such as home, assisted living facilities, nursing homes and hospitals.

We strive to create a unique care plan for each of our patients that enlists the expertise of Registered Nurses, Spiritual Care Counselors, Home Health Aides, Medical Social Workers, Registered Dieticians, Volunteers, and Bereavement Counselors.

Although I have never been to Kindred Hospice, I am familiar with Hospice. It is a very necessary assist to folks in the last stages of their life. I have had an in-law and a very good friend that passed away in a Hospice facility and I witnessed excellent care they were given. If I can contribute to that in any way I would be very honored.

Very caring staff at this organization. I not only volunteered here a few years ago but also chose the hospice to care for a family member who passed last year. The volunteer services coordinator is great too!

The entire staff is very friendly and supportive. My questions are always kindly answered. I have been thanked many times for my help. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is interested in volunteering!

I would recommend to volunteer with this organization because of the supervisor I have, Jen Mowery. She keeps me posted on the clients and just to see how things are doing with me. She is a pleasure to work with. They really try very hard to match the clients with the volunteer and their needs.
