Our Canine Companion volunteers do much more than just walk dogs - they help prepare each dog for his/her future home with in-kennel and outside dog enrichment, training and socialization. Participation in monthly Canine Companion classes give our volunteers the skills and knowledge needed to work effectively with many common shelter dog behaviors.
Volunteer opportunities are between 11:00am and 6:00pm every day except for Tuesdays. Volunteers also assist staff with early morning kennel cleaning from 7:00am-9:00am.
Paw4ever partners with county shelters to rescue and care for the animals that need it most. In doing
so, we save the lives of countless cats and dogs and also help reduce overcrowding and euthanasia rates
for these shelters. Our animals stay with us until adopted, whether that’s two months or ten years.
Paws4ever is dedicated to creating and growing lifetime relationships between pets and people through adoption, training, education & care.
