Thoroughbred Placement Resources (TPR) is a charity that helps retiring racehorses find new homes once their racing careers end.
Why join our board to support TPR, you might ask? Whether you are a horse person or not, the answer is simple; every year many more horses are born than will ever be successful at the track and many of them have the potential to become wonderful athletic partners, support veterans recovery programs, or even become therapeutic riding horses. But they can’t make that transition successfully without knowledgeable, professional training.
That’s where TPR comes in. That's where you come in. TPR can only succeed with the help of a dedicated Board of Directors. At the present time we have a great core group of 5 but we wish to expand our board to 9 members. This will allow us to expand our work and create a network of volunteers who will help these wonderful horses find new lives once their race careers end.
