Are you looking for an opportunity to do something really meaningful that satisfies your need for a more hands-on work experience? We've got just the thing for you! We're looking for reliable, dedicated people to assist our Head Trainer in her daily barn work and riding. Whether it's turn out/in of horses, grooming, tacking/untacking, or helping to set up jumps, there's plenty of work to be done! If you can commit to 1 to 2 shifts a week on an ongoing basis, you'll be a part of a truly rewarding experience. Picture this - You come in during the morning to take care of all the horses, including feeding, bringing in, and turning out. Or midday, you help prepare horses for riding and training. Maybe you can come in the late afternoon, you close up the barn and feed, bringing in, and turn out the horses for the night. Thoroughbred Placement Resources (TPR) is a growing charity that helps retiring race horses find new homes after their race careers end. TPR has and eager and energetic core group of volunteers, but we need your help to bring in even more volunteers. We are seeking help with: -writing ads -where to look for volunteers -how to spread our message to those who wish to help - how to vet/manage volunteers so we can match the right skill set with the task(s) at hand -advising/consulting/answering questions of current and potential volunteers The demand for our expertise continues to expand as does our need for resources to do this very important work. We are great at working with horses and finding them new lives when their careers end.

We also have an integrated program for America's Wounded Warriors, Veterans, Active Service and their families within our retired racehorse retraining program. The demand for our help continues to expand as does our need for resources to help these wonderful horses. We are seeking help with fundraising so we can continue to help these wonderful horses. Use your PR and Marketing Skills to Help Horses!

Thoroughbred Placement Resources(TPR) is a growing charity that helps retiring racehorses find new homes once their racing careers end. We have placed over 1000 horses since 2007, and we help more every day but we cannot do it alone. I'm looking for a videographer to partner with me and create a video series on how to correctly retrain retired racehorses. My hope is to expand our prescense (Thoroughbred Placement Resources) on Facebook through this series to raise more funding and at the same time get the word out to help people avoid the pitfalls of trying to retrain horses fresh off the track. I would also like to create a strong prescense for the series on YouTube to reach more people and raise more funds to help more horses and at the same time help people who adopt retired racehorses. Your help would be invaluable because I am good at riding and training horses. I have muddled by in the Facebook area and haven't done much with YouTube. You would be helping countless horses and people by becoming involved. Help us help the horses!
