Consider being someone's "eyes" for those who are losing their eyesight or are already blind. This role involves helping people read mail, sort bills, file, write letters, and organize household items with labels. These visits would be 1-2 times a month for about 1-1.5 hours each home visit. This role requires in-home visits and proper adherence to COVID safety requirements. A background check is required.

Description
The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Volunteers of America provides volunteer opportunities for individuals 55 years and older to use their skills, insight and lifetime experiences to assist residents and non-profit agencies in the county. RSVP also offers a variety of programs which provide services and enhance the quality of life for seniors.
