About

United Soldiers and Sailors of America (usasoa.org) is seeking an intern to help with policy and legislation research, analysis, and review. This internship can be done remotely and we will help you fill any requirements if you are seeking this internship for a college or university requirement. Please let us know during the interview if you need USASOA to send any documentation or references to a university.

This is a non-paid internship and will last from January to May. Applicants should be seeking a degree or have recently graduated. Understanding of public policy, veteran affairs, research, objective and holistic analysis of legislation and writing preferred.

You will be given tasks of projects and pending legislation to research, review, and analysis for our advocacy team. We understand that university students typically have much work and expect this internship to involve no more than 10 to 15 hours of dedication a week.

Veterans encouraged to apply. Expect interviews to be conducted via Skype or by phone if you are selected. Submit resumes AND a short writing sample (1-3 pages of some analysis or research you wrote) to: john@usasoa.org

This post will be deleted on 5 January 2018Interviews will be scheduled afterward.
