Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
As a volunteer organization, United Soldiers and Sailors of America - USASOA is dedicated to the core mission of providing the essentials of daily life: food, shelter, utilities, heat and more to our ill, injured and wounded service members, veterans and their families who struggle from time to time. As a secondary focus, USASOA also provides for the care and comfort of our ill, injured and wounded service members through our ardent advocacy work on Capitol Hill for their just-rights and dignity
United Soldiers and Sailors of America - USASOA is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to the core mission of providing the essentials of life such as food, shelter, utilities, toiletries and more to our combat wounded heroes and their families who struggle. As a volunteer organization we depend greatly on the appreciation of grateful Americans and businesses to fund our mission. Proudly, 100% of donations to USASOA reach our wounded through our Wounded Defenders of Freedom Fund, paying for the items and services that they may lack from time to time. Direct payments are made to vendors or the debtors of our wounded and their families. USASOA has been ensuring that the basic, human needs of our wounded and their families are fulfilled so that they may live a healthy, happy life in a safe, clean home or environment. Our unique programs and services are designed to directly impact the quality of life for our ill, injured and wounded service members. The mental and physical pain and anguish related to a service or war related injury will in certain circumstances lead to a more complicated post-injury - veteran way of life for a service member including their families.Thankfully, most of us will never encounter or experience the challenges which many of our wounded face on a regular basis. USASOA programs such as the BBQ FOR OUR HEROES, BOOTS ON THE GROUND, CENTS FOR SOLDIERS and others have a meaningful impact on the lives of our wounded.
