Become an AVID COACH at Peninsula High School or Key Peninsula Middle School and pave the way for a brighter future for kids!

The AVID program (Achievement via Independent Determination) is a Peninsula School District program focusing college preparedness for "middle achiever" students, typically underrepresented in college. It develops writing and organizational skills. They also visit colleges and learn about financial aid.
Both schools have a need for 2-3 additional coaches to help facilitate students in the curriculum, in collaboration with the teacher.

The classes meet Tuesdays and Thursday for one hour. There is the option of volunteering for only one of those days.
