Duties of Volunteer : Take part in weekly or bi-monthly poetry 2 hour workshop with shelter residents. With other volunteers and shelter residents, read published poetry and discuss. Then invited to write your own poetry. Qualifications: An interest in poetry but no formal writing skills needed. An interest in listening and empowering those who are homeless to write poetry. Days and times needed: Mondays
